In continuation with Chanukah, we went into fire
safety this week. The children absolutely loved it! We started off with a lit
match, explaining how fire is not something we play with. We sang a fun song
that the children really enjoyed singing. We painted our very own fire truck to use in our
dramatic play center.
We had fire man costumes to go with it too. We practiced putting out "fires", and we learned all about stop, drop, and roll. We also learned the number we call when we see a fire. We even got to create our very own fire hat and mask. We used a lot of our fine motor skills to create these beautiful projects!
